Resonance Apparatus
It consists of a tube 100cm long, 25mm dia mounted on a stand which is fitted with leveling screws. The lower end of the rubber tubing provided is connected to the 500ml glass reservoir which slides on a metal rod and can be raised or lowered for adjusting the length of column of air. It is used to measure the velocity of sound waves in air at room temperature by using a tuning fork.

Organ Pipe Open Ended
Square section with tapered mouthpiece, made of polished wood, with graduated sliding piston, square in section having a knob at the end for easy handling. The slider is marked with a diatonic scale.
